Hemorrhoids 

1470 nm laser hemorrhoidoplasty has been validated by a substantial body of clinical research. A prospective study of 140 patients reported a mean VAS pain score of only 2.1 on postoperative day 1, decreasing to 0.3 by day 7, with a median recovery time of just 3 days and no recurrence at 12-month follow-up. A separate systematic review encompassing 2,492 patients confirmed that LHP performed with either 980 nm or 1470 nm wavelengths was significantly superior to conventional hemorrhoidectomy in terms of operative time, postoperative pain, and complication rates.

Anal Fistula

The 1470 nm radial fiber emission technique enables closure of the fistula tract without damaging the sphincter complex. A systematic review reported a primary healing rate of 67.3% for anal fistula, with a complication rate of only 4% and sphincter function impairment (minor soiling) in just 1% of cases. For appropriately selected patients, this represents a highly attractive sphincter-preserving alternative to traditional fistulotomy.
